Why I Created the Core Vitality Community Fund
Rochelle’s Story of Lupus, Loss, and Hope
*“I was originally diagnosed with lupus over 10 years ago, and that experience deeply shaped my life and my heart for those facing chronic illness. In 2025, further medical evaluation showed that I do not have lupus. However, walking through that journey gave me firsthand understanding of the fear, uncertainty, and strength required to face serious health concerns.
That experience is one reason I remain committed to supporting lupus awareness and others battling autoimmune conditions.”*
My mission is also deeply shaped by personal loss. I lost my mother to kidney failure, and that experience opened my eyes to the heartbreak families face when navigating serious medical challenges. Watching someone you love suffer, hoping for answers, and carrying grief afterward is a pain no family should endure alone.
I also understand the impact of mental illness on families. I have loved ones who live with mental health challenges, and I’ve seen how depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and emotional struggles can affect not only individuals — but entire families. Mental health pain is real, often unseen, and just as important as physical health.
Because of these experiences, I created the Core Vitality Community Fund — a mission built on empathy, faith, resilience, and whole-person healing. We exist to support families battling cancer, lupus, kidney disease, mental health challenges, and chronic illness by offering emotional care, wellness resources, spiritual encouragement, and financial relief.
This mission is personal. It is rooted in love, loss, faith, and a deep desire to help others who are walking the same difficult path.
